My excitement about human persuasion inspires my research in modern marketing innovations. I see a culture's business--rather, its common methods of luring people into business--as a deep reflection of its people's desires and values. And in our case, I want to see how far we'll go to lure. I want to map out the relationship between profit, innovation, and democracy. I want to consistently try the journalists who are the guardians of our democratic pillars.
